What are your thoughts about WordPress community in India?
Well It’s growing and popular among blogger and website builder, but not among engineering students. Being a WordPress blogger, i would say “With 0 coding you can have website/blog”, this fact is not known by most of the engineering students.
Brief about the topic on which you’re going to speak at WordCamp Baroda, 2013
Well my topic is “101 about Secure wordpress blog“, i will be sharing some of the tips/tricks/steps to make your blog more secure. My target audience would be those bloggers who don’t do anything other than simple WordPress setup. Here are some of the tips/tricks:
- Don’t Show WordPress Version on Your Blog
- Change the admin username
- Use secret keys. So same kind of tips/tricks I will be sharing during my talks.
Why have you decided to be a part of WordCamp Baroda 2013?
First of all, I believe in 2 things:
- Sharing is caring and sexy 🙂
- Power is in community (Being head of GDG Ahmedabad, I can smell this power)
And second, I saw many blogger don’t do anything other than simple wordpress setup, same like i did earlier for TechnoTalkative.com and it was hacked later. As my blog hacked I did R&D myself and implemented some of the steps to make it more secure.
And third, i hope to meet experienced technical blogger to collect more security tips.
What are you most looking forward to during WordCamp Baroda 2013?
